Trip cost

Tezser is a carpooling (ride-sharing) service. The Passenger reimburses the Driver for part of the trip expenses (the “cost-share”), while the Platform charges a Service fee for information and technology services. There is no fixed price list (tariff).

How the cost is calculated

The cost-share amount is calculated automatically based on the route distance between the pick-up and drop-off points. An estimated amount is always shown in the Tezser mobile app before the trip is confirmed — the User sees it in advance and confirms the trip voluntarily. The final amount depends on the length of the specific trip.

Service fee

For using the Platform (matching co-travellers and arranging the trip) a Service fee of 15% of the cost-share amount is charged. The Service fee is a payment for the Platform’s information services, not a payment for transportation and not a “tariff”.

Payment

Payment is made cashless — by bank card. Payment and card-data processing is carried out by a licensed payment service provider; the Platform does not store full bank card data.

Where to see the exact amount

The estimated cost of a specific trip is shown in the Tezser mobile app before the trip is confirmed. The terms and cost of a paid Subscription (if any) are communicated to the User on the Platform before payment.
